COMMUNITY GRANTS

Supporting the Mullumbimby and surrounding Shire Community

We are pleased to say that this year our cash and in-kind contributions, donations and sponsorships remain as important to us as they always have been.

We are proud to give back to the community that we belong to, which is why we dedicate everything we do towards supporting community groups.

NSW Club Grants Program

The NSW ClubGRANTS program is a community development initiative in New South Wales, Australia, designed to provide funding to local community organizations and projects. The purpose of the program is to support projects and services that improve the welfare and quality of life of local communities, particularly in areas related to health, social services, sport, education, and culture.

Clubs that earn gaming machine revenue are required to contribute a portion of their profits back into their communities through this program. The funds are allocated across three categories:

Category 1

You are considered eligible for Category 1 funding if your project falls under specific community welfare and social services, community development, health services and employment assistance activities, and other projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.

View examples of community projects.

NB These are broad categories – you may still be eligible for Category 1 even if your project or initiative is not in this list. Alternatively, funding may still be sought under Categories 2 or 3.

Category 2

Funding for general community development and support activities, such as junior sport/grassroots sport or veteran welfare activities.

Category 3

Funding is available to support projects that assist communities with essential infrastructure and disaster readiness.
